Adopted from E.T.A Hoffmann’s story and scored by Tchaikovsky, The Nutcracker Suite premiered in March 1892 and introduced the world to Clara and her Nutcracker Prince. The suite transports us to a dreamland of Sugar Plum Fairies, dancing snowflakes and of course a climatic battle with the Mouse King. Clara brings this nostalgic ballet to life with notes of sparkling plum, blackcurrant and jasmine.
